Vibratory Inductors
These are used for mechanical vibratory systems by utilizing the changing magnetic field of the inductor due to the AC input voltage. transformers such as these are usually found in parts feeding systems or part sorters. Typically designed with the use of EI laminations, specialty confugurations can be created by utilizing a steel cup. Generally, but not always the coils are potted to prevent mechanical fatigue from the vibratory environment and excessive noise. Often they are designed around the use of weldments for secure attachment to the vibratory equipment.
