High Frequency Ferrite Core Transformers
Generally used in higher frequency applications, they are found in switch mode power supplies, motor control applications, telecommunications equipment, computers, and virtually all modern electronic devices. A wide variety of geometric shapes are available such as pot cores, square cores, toroids, E, U, and I cores, ETD, PQ, and EP cores. Most often, these are found on bobbin or toroid based configurations that have been designed for PC mounted applications.
